About us

The ASEAN Blue Economy Innovation project is an initiative to advance the blue economy in ASEAN countries and Timor-Leste. It identifies, funds, and supports innovative solutions for sustainably managing marine ecosystems, coastal areas, and freshwater resources while driving inclusive, sustainable growth in the region's blue economy sector. Beyond financial support, the project connects innovators with key stakeholders, including investors and businesses. Funded by the Government of Japan, it is jointly implemented by the ASEAN Secretariat, the Mission of Japan to ASEAN, and UNDP Indonesia, with endorsement from the ASEAN Coordinating Committee on Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (ACCMSME).
